Amazon’s own-brand “All-in-One” dishwasher tablets are the value newcomer worth knowing about. At £3.96 for 40 tabs. 9.9p per tab, dropping to 9.4p on Subscribe & Save. They sit a couple of pence under Sun All-in-1 per tab and significantly below Finish Powerball.
The formula is a standard all-in-one composition (detergent + rinse aid + salt equivalent + bleach). Cleaning performance on everyday loads, plates, glasses, cutlery, lightly-greasy pans, is genuinely fine. Where it lags the Finish flagship is on baked-on grease and very hard-water spotting, but for the majority of UK households running average cycles, you’d be hard-pressed to tell the difference.
The pack size is the practical downside. 40 tabs lasts most households about six weeks on daily use. So you’ll set up Subscribe & Save and forget about it, which is exactly what Amazon wants you to do. Bigger packs of Sun or Finish work out cheaper per tab on a single purchase, but the lower upfront commitment of the 40-pack may suit households that haven’t yet committed to a bulk-buy routine.
Worth flagging: Amazon’s own-brand cleaning lines have a habit of disappearing or being relisted under different names when stock policy shifts. If this product is unavailable when you try to subscribe, Sun All-in-1 is the closest direct substitute.
