This policy explains what data WashAndSave (washandsave.co.uk) collects, how we use it, and what your rights are. We follow UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Who we are

WashAndSave is an independent UK affiliate site. The data controller is contactable at contact@washandsave.co.uk.

What data we collect

1. Analytics data (only with your consent). If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visitors, see which pages are popular, and understand roughly where our audience comes from. Google Analytics collects:

  • Anonymised IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Referring website (where you arrived from)
  • General device type

We do not collect names, emails, or any personally identifying information through analytics.

2. Affiliate-click data. When you click an Amazon link on our site, your browser sends information to Amazon (not to us) so Amazon can attribute any subsequent purchase to us. We see only aggregate click counts in our affiliate dashboard, not who clicked or what they bought.

3. Contact form submissions. If you email us, we keep the email so we can reply. We don’t add you to any mailing list. We delete emails after 12 months unless an ongoing conversation requires we keep them longer.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t have a newsletter.
  • We don’t sell or share your data with anyone.
  • We don’t use ad-network retargeting cookies.
  • We don’t profile individual users.
